Huawei, within the framework of the IFA 2019, has presented a completely new generation WiFi system for the home, Huawei WiFi Q2 Pro, which allows expanding the coverage.
Huawei has launched the Q2 Pro WiFi router, which integrates Huawei’s Gigahome 5630 gigabit PLC modem chip and Turbo PLC technology, which greatly improves anti-interference for the PLC network, allowing fast and low data transfers latency, laying the foundations for the adoption of new technologies, such as a 200Mbps broadband and a faster fiber-optic broadband.
The new router allows obtaining a wide coverage, even in spaces of large dimensions and several heights thanks to the combination of automatic dual-band selection, continuous roaming, and automatic channel optimization.
The Huawei WiFi Q2 Pro is a third-generation base satellite router that focuses on solving interference problems that may occur during the transmission of network signals. The team uses Huawei’s Gigabit PLC modem chip and Turbo Turbo technology to reduce signal noise and improve the quality of communications between the base and satellite routers.
This solution comes before the proliferation of faster broadband of 200Mbps and the increasing number of smart devices in private homes, which has caused an increase in the transmission traffic in the main signal channels.
Plug-and-play and IPv6 support
Together with the improvement in network performance, the router inherits the plug-and-play function of its predecessor and allows the connection of up to 15 satellites for each configured base. In addition, it supports automatic dual-band selection and roaming without interruptions, automatically connecting users to the access point and frequency band with the strongest signal, and optimizing WiFi channels to avoid nearby signal interference.
Similarly, it has automatic network port identification technology and prevents users from getting confused with the WAN and LAN ports and can obtain the WiFi password of the previous router when connected, allowing direct access to the Internet.
The router supports the next generation IPv6 network communication protocol, which reinforces the privacy and security of the network.
